Thanks for your good humor; you were right---but not any more. ;-) The great majority of subscribers do not have it set; I guess what happened is that at migration from 2.0.13 to 2.1.5 the default was _not_ applied to existing members. If anybody has a strong opinion and reasoned arguments about which way (either way) the default should be set, please write to list-manager(a)xemacs.org. Although I personally think it better if the user does the filtering by default, we can change it.
