What's the current state of the new incarnation of your package?
If
you've got a buildable tarball of sources which I can import into the
package tree, send it to me (or point me to an URL), and I try to get
things running (any preferred vendor and start tags?).

I've upload the source tarball of
${XEMACS_PACKAGES_BASE}/xemacs-packages/riece to:
http://deisui.org/~ueno/tmp/riece.tar.gz
After extracting the tarball, it should be built using "make bindist" in
that directory.
