Agreed. It should not be included blindly but fixed first so that it
works with XEmacs. Whenever I suggest adding things to the packages
you can assume I mean that it should work reasonably well first.
I do assume that. What I wanted to point out is that there is an
intermediate step between your private file system and the official
XEmacs package repo -- the contrib repo.
Of course github or the hg equivalent is fine too.
