Question about bug reporting

I wondered why so many reports went to comp.emacs.xemacs; now I know. To be honest, you should send them here, to xemacs-beta. Bug reports are typically not really appropriate for xemacs(a)xemacs.org (== comp.emacs.xemacs). On the other hand, delays in response to reports to xemacsbugs are pretty long, right now. The bug tracking system (BTS) is undermanned. So they'll get developer attention fastest here. This policy will change (back to "send to the BTS") once we get the BTS reorganized.
