I haven't heard of such problems. compose-mail is used to create a
mail composition buffer, installation and make output files are
inserted, lines are deleted with delete-matching-lines and
delete-non-matching-lines and that's it.
All I can think of are hooks that you run when you send off the build
report.
A test case would be appreciated (e.g. Installation and make.err files
which make the problem show up).
