There's no need to get permission, just participants. :-)
The main reason I mentioned EmacsWiki is that people we'd like to have
notice that we're gearing up are already there.
IMO, getting things going requires people, review, and code in that
order. Get the people, have them start reviewing each others' ideas,
and the code will come. So whatever you think about doing, the main
questions are "Will people come? How do they get here? How do they
find out about it?" Infrastructure is secondary (except to the
leader, ie, if you're in the mood to do some leading, then the
infrastructure needs to be comfortable for you, and you get to choose
it).
Agree so far. Came upon from the perspective/project discussion.
Publishing it at a single web-site as now, needs always maintenance resp.
brings some risk propagating old stuff.
