Problem with smtpmail.el

I just installed XEmacs 21.4.9 along with the last sumo package tarball and mule package tarball. When traveling with my laptop, I want my outgoing mails to be queued : (setq vm-spool-files nil) (setq smtpmail-queue-mail t) And when I come back to work then I send all the queued mails : (smtpmail-send-queued-mail) Problem encountered: When invoking (mail-send) the outgoing mail is not queued. Error: Wrong type argument: sequencep, 1 And every time I keep invoking (mail-send) this digit keeps incresing Wrong type argument: sequencep, 2 Wrong type argument: sequencep, 3 Wrong type argument: sequencep, 4 I traced the error and found out it came from the smtpmail-send-it function. This used to work just fine with smtpmail.el (Synched up with: FSF 20.7) but does not work anymore with smtpmail.el (Synched up with: Emacs 21.3 from CVS 2002-04-27). So I replaced smtpmail.el by the old version and things seem to be working ok again.
