Doesn't cygwin use configure and the Unix Makefiles? Why isn't the
Mercurial hash present?
Yes, but my build scripts copy all the source files from a repository
and deliberately strip the .hg files. I was going to see how to
address this either globally or locally. ... 'twill happen some day.
