I am a bit new to xemacs (uses emacs normally). Have had some
problems with global-set-key stuff. Mostly have been resolved
but this one still exists and is very painful since the key
binding is struck in my head after many years...:
(global-set-key "\C-c\C-h" 'goto-line)
If it's goto-line specifically, XEmacs has that bound to M-g by
default. (I understand that doesn't help your muscle memory, but it's
there for future reference.)
Trying to use ctrl+c+g end abrubtly with 'Quit'.
I guess this is due to the fact that the ctrl+g is 'quit/stop
function' (which is also is in emacs).
This works as you expect in current head (21.5.28 + recent patches).
Vin, should I try to fix this in 21.4? Feel free to say "I'll know
when I see a patch", but I'm not going to spend time on it after all
these years without a bug report unless you express at least that much
interest.
