It should be undefined by default. Could you try that?
Yes. I removed the machinery in xemacs.mak that forces PACKAGE_PATH
on by default and let XEmacs use the root to determine the package
path at runtime and this works.
I will be posting a patch for 21.5. Thanks for your help, Mike.
