The mechanical quality of patches going to xemacs-patches has been
going up, and I thank you all for that. As a reminder for those not
familiar with the procedures we use, I will repost an example of what
I consider a perfect patch submission.
It contains an explanation of why we need to apply this patch (you
normally don't have to be this detailed, but this kind of detail makes
it *much* easier to read patches and is most welcome). It contains a
ChangeLog entry. It contains a patch rooted in the top-level XEmacs
source directory.
