When patching up from beta 30, there are several zero length files
that need to be deleted, In particular gif_lib.h:

-rw-rw-r-- 1 clifford staff 0 Mar 17 04:48 gif_err.c
-rw-rw-r-- 1 clifford staff 0 Mar 17 04:48 gif_lib.h
-rw-rw-r-- 1 clifford staff 0 Mar 17 04:48 gifalloc.c
