Have you done an Xft build with this stuff yet? I dunno, Aidan. It's not your fault that X goes belly-up whenever you hand it something it doesn't expect, but it is a fact that it does. I don't really see any good reason to suppose that there aren't several more crashes lurking, because you've completely changed the model. Up to now, we assumed that we could choose from the whole list of fonts. Now we have to get the query right.
