[AC (pkgs)] Fix shell annoyances
APPROVE COMMIT packages
I wrote:
This patch fixes the two problems with M-x shell that Mike Kupfer
reported recently, and also syncs up docstrings for the field.el
functions with the latest in Emacs CVS.
I have committed this patch. However, I'm not done yet. I'm going to
try to fix Ilya Golubev's \r problem, so hold off a day or two on
generating a new package, please.
