That wouldn't work. Tramp 2.1 (in GNU Emacs) is not compatible with
Tramp 2.0 (in XEmacs).
It seems to work, though, and I see nothing in the patch that conflicts
with the old Tramp.
I propose to upgrade to Tramp 2.1 in XEmacs if
possible. Then you get this patch for free :-)
