Use src/gmalloc.c if --with-system-malloc=no was supplied, otherwise use the system malloc. Document that the right next step is to remove src/gmalloc.c, and to use __after_morecore_hook and malloc_set_state if those are available in the system malloc, not otherwise. * configure: Regenerate.
