you use the command line.
 
They don't work using the icons/buttons and they don't work
using the main menu ( FILE/OPEN ).  A messages pops up
saying "Symbol's function definition is void: xpm-button-create"
 
I am using the rs6000-ibm-aix4* binary ...
 
I just downloaded the xemacs-base package and placed it in the
directory structure but may not have put it in the right place.
 
/usr/opt/xemacs21.1.3/bin/rs6000-ibm-aix4.3.0.0/xemacs ( executable )
