Hi,
have just installed
XEmacs with the latest Windows Netinstaller.
All packages
including the 'ecb package.
After that
`pui-list-packages' lists all packages but 'ecb....
After some searching
i found that 'ecb is not contained in the
file package-index.LATEST.pgp installed by the Netinstaller for
Windows.
Norbert Koch has
pointed me to the file package-index.LATEST.pgp
the latest 'ecb
package.
After replacing the version installed by the
Netinstaller with the new one down-
the package 'ecb is displayed by `pui-list-packages'
and can be deinstalled
and installed.
Seems that the Netinstaller has an outdated version of
package-index.LATEST.pgp.
Can this be
possible??
It would be good, if the
XEmacs installed via Windows Netinstalled would contain
an
up-to-date version of
package-index.LATEST.pgp so also the package 'ecb
is known
by the package-manager of
XEmacs.
Can anyone fix
this?
