Thanks a lot for your suggestion Andy. I have fallowing questions to xemacs group.

1. I don't see the XEmacs package in the Editor list when I use the setup.exe of cygwin. Do I install through setup.exe of XEmacs, and choose intallation type: cygwin. Will I get cygwin shipped with XEmacs in this case

2. I am trying telnet through XEmacs for only reason i.e. able to use XEmacs for the remote files (In the server I am trying to connect to). Do you think its possible. If not how do I use XEmacs for remote files?

If you are using the cygwin tools you might want to try the cygwin version of XEmacs which works better with these tools. On this version for me, M-x telnet works just fine without any configuration.
