which version of cperl-mode is the XEmacs-packaged version based on?
I wasn't able to come to a conclusion by looking at
(locate-library "cperl-mode.el")
"c:\\Program Files\\XEmacs\\xemacs-packages\\lisp\\prog-modes\\cperl-mode.el"
Are we really that far behind?
