vm looks for vcard-api-version - not defined

The development web site is at http://launchpad.net/vm.  The downloads
link is on the right.

There are two releases here which have been tested for XEmacs.

8.0.14 - which includes some "urgent" bug fixes for 8.0.12.

8.1.1 - which includes lots more serious work after 8.0.12.

I would suggest that you should at least upgrade to 8.0.14 for the
next release of the package system.  But, if it is possible, 8.1.1
would be ideal.
