Problems building packages (semantic), package-future.el?

I'm sorry, it was late and I was too tired to say more.  This
semantic-related stuff is too clever for its own good -- I really wish
those guys would work up a patch to Emacs rather than hacking up a
non-standard environment -- and bootstrapping it is very delicate.  I
had a lot of trouble getting it to build in an existing tree built
with older 21.5.  make clean (and even make distclean) was leaving
some state somewhere, which I didn't have time to track down before
things started working again.  (It might have been my own hacks.)

However, in my experience so far, both a 21.5 HEAD build and
package-future.el are able to do it in a new tree.
