Yes it would, BUT ... I'm building packages with a stable version of
XEmacs - although I think I could change this - and, as we all know from
the package smoketest and a couple of not so recent threads, the
packages don't build with the 21.4 series. So, once we have found a
solution to this problem I can release new sumos.

I still support Steve's plan to hack something into 21.4 which allows us
to build the packages.

Or do you think it's worth releasing the packages based on the beta?
