non-cvs access ? Was: Bug in new vc

Ok, I've found cvs.xemacs.org. It's just too simple ;)

Now I have another problem: our firewall blocks pserver and 
"cvs [login aborted]: proxy server proxy:8000 does not support http 
tunnelling"

:(

Has anyone an Idea, how I can access the new vc sources without cvs ? (Or 
how to trick our firewall ;) )
