I checked in a change a couple of weeks ago that improved the speed of font
selection for non-ASCII character sets, but broke the font menus. I haven?t
got to fixing them yet, but I should soon. Sorry about the inconvenience.

This is a specific consequence of compiling without Mule. If you don?t mind
me asking, why are you compiling without Mule?
