IIRC the old name was --package-path, and in the switch to autoconf
2.5x it got renamed to --with-package-path, which would give you an
error.  --with-package-prefix (formerly named --package-prefix) is a
few months older than the switch to autoconf 2.5x, but you very likely
wouldn't have noticed the new option if your old command line was
working fine.
