To my knowledge, content negotiation is _available_ under win32, but I’ve no
idea how to implement it for XEmacs, and nor do I have a system to test it
on. So, I propose committing your patch, once I’ve tested it doesn’t break
anything under X11, since although it’s not The Right Thing, I don’t
anticipate The Right Thing getting done in the medium term.
