I'm not sure I understand what you're trying to get at here, but I'm
afraid you're missing the point. David (and Hrvoje, for that matter)
want _their_ use cases to work. They care about _other_ use cases to
the extent that they understand them, but since these are the ones
they encounter on a daily basis, these are the ones they want fixed,
preferably yesterday.
Nor do they particularly care that the hacks they propose will be
obsoleted in the future, because they don't intend to do the work.
They see the current situation as buggy and the fault of the Mule
advocates, so we should fix it. If we want a better Mule, that's up
to us, but it shouldn't interfere with fixing the bugs that are being
reported, even if it's at the expense of creating new bugs (because
the latter haven't been reported yet ;-).
