That's false.  It causes demonstrable inconvenience to certain
categories of readers.

I understand why you want to conserve on keystrokes.  I don't feel
your pain, so you're going to have to judge how important it is.  I
can live with your decision (speaking for myself).

I would like standard netiquette established as the standard on xemacs
lists, though, because (and this is imo) it facilitates technical
discussion.
