If wishes were fishes....  This stuff all gets detected either by Xlib
itself (which calls the error-handler) or in the error handler called
from Xlib.  It's a fair amount of work/thought to get that stuff
right.  Is it really worth it for something that's either the distro
taking aim at the user's foot (the /tmp cleaner cron job) or
relatively easy to diagnose in most cases?
