Cool!  That's a promise, right?  :-)

In practice, though, Markus is probably 8-12 months or so away from a
reasonably stable implementation (ie, one that we can release as the
default collector in the mainline), right?  We should think about
doing something to reduce GC overhead in the meantime, I think,
because I hope we'll have a gamma before then.
