This is known, it's a false positive, I submitted a patch to shut up
the compiler, it's not in 21.4 because it's not fixing something
broken and is even less intelligible than the existing code.
It's not in 21.5 mostly because I'm sadly short of tuits, not just
round ones but triangular and random polygonal ones, too, but I want
to try to make the patch clarify the code rather than obfuscate it.
