what kinds of things do you want to check with them?  type in whois
and the domain name to get a lot of information.  for instance,
they're registered in Indianapolis.

their mx servers are hosted by messageone.com who in turns is
registered to Dell, Inc. who in turns is hosted by rackspace.com
also in texas.

just follow whois/dig paths.  along they way you'll end up with
company names, ip's, and so on.  you can check each of those with
google.
