[Novalug] linux compatible labelmakers

Greetings,

In an attempt for my 2010 file drawer to be an improvement over my
previous years' files, I have decided to rid the folders of my hideous
chicken-scratch and that I am in the market for a label maker.  I found
this:

must be portable
must be able to interface with computer (preferably linux, as I am
looking to remove microsoft dependencies from my life, not add to them)
must have AC adapter as an alternative to batteries.
I like the thermal printing on disc option.

Any ideas/suggestions are appreciated.
