I don't ordinarily join in with discussions of this type, but I've been
using Qmail on my boxen for.. carry the one.. twelve years now. There
is a learning curve, make no bones about it, but a basic configuration
is actually pretty easy to set up, and once you wrap your head around
Qmail it's easy to make it do what you want it to do. The one caveat is
that you really need to sit down and read through the documentation, in
the order it's referenced, once or twice before you try to set it up.
Oh, and it's amazingly stable, too. I've seen it take abuse at work
that killed the other mail servers we used.
