Interim clearances are granted at the SECRET and TOP SECRET levels. I
don't know if it's possible to be granted an interim TS/SCI or anything
like that. It seems to mean that the majority of the legwork is done,
the paperwork is processed, and the facts are now under consideration
but at first scratch everything seems fine. Then again, I'm not an
investigator so I don't know exactly what happens here.
