[Novalug] palm pre

I haven't been paying close attention so excuse me if this has already been
kicked around, but it would seem that linux developers ought to be swarming
behind developing apps that will run on palm pre, and Limo to compete with
the apple franchise.  knowing little about it, it would seem like it should
be easy to port apps since the webOS is based on linux and without a major
brand, linux doesn't catch john q public's eye. Without apps the palm pre
will fizzle, and without a major brand, linux will smolder.  Any thoughts on
this?
