[Novalug] cd burner not working on linux side of dual boot

I too have a Ubuntu Feisty system that fought me with the 'burn from 
iso' task...

A 'quick fix' for burning cd's from an .iso was as easy as:
username at hostname:~$ sudo wodim 
path/to/target/directory/exact-name-of-your.iso

Works like a champ!(4 me)
however, ymmv
