[Novalug] default web browser

What happens if you open firefox and go to the
preferences and then to system defaults? On my box
there is an option for "Always check to see if firefox
is the default browser on startup". Can you you do
this and click "Check Now" to see what
firefox/iceweasel says?

Just a shot in the dark.
