- i think most of us knew that this was going to
happen... in fact, HAS to happen for Microsoft... the
company's window of opportunity to reinvent itself,
spin off into other areas, and explore other types of
business and revenue streams is starting to close...

- Microsoft's fate (and the fate of proprietary
software) was sealed thanks to rms and his creation of
the GPL... only it has taken Satan and his minions
more than 20 years to realize and accept that fact...
