[Novalug] Is there an easy way to auto-synch browsers on a LAN?

Yes, it is, very much. I know about the postcard analogy,
and other such things; but I do want to do what I can for my
privacy, especially against any/all forms of marketting -- I get
way too much junk as it is ...

As you may've guessed, this all ties in with the problem
I posted here, for the friend who's assembling me a machine, with
dual-booting to XP. One of the solutions to that, which I passed
on but haven't discussed with him yet, is just to leave XP on a
whole different machine of its own. (I have one, and won't use it
for much else; the old P2 which the old XP will replace runs FC6
only, but sits there turned off most of the time because of fan
noise. XP could too.)
If we go with that instead of solving the dual boot
problem, it'll most likely remove one machine from the sync job :
when I do boot XP, I keep it offline all I can ...
