[Ma-linux] Oracle-SUN merger : FOSS angle

Isn't open source owned by the community?

If truely GPL then it can't be "owned"?

I thought that was the argument for all the companies
going under and putting their software out in the wild...
for x employees to continue working on it,
and lost lose all the efforts/ dreams/ tech skill/
special sauce/ etc...
