If you have specific needs, tell us what they are and maybe we can help
you meet them with Linux or point you in another direction.
But as far as I'm concerned, I'm going to be on Linux for a very long
time because it is not constricting compared to my other choices. After
many years I'm still on Fedora (now 9) and find that the base
distribution combined with third-party rpm repositories allows me to do
pretty much whatever I want. I can't see that I'm really missing out in
any way with one Linux over another, but I can definitely see advantages
of Linux over BSD, Mac OS X and Windows.
Mostly, I am in control.
