Yes, but I would argue that it is not FreeBSD that makes OS X good...it
is what Apple layered on top of it.
I'm not exactlt sure what NextStep is (visiting Wikipedia...ok, back),
but I sure do know that the NeXT was a major P.I.T.A.
In any case, MACs have always been Too Expensive To Buy.
I like my computers cheap, and my software free.
