[Dclug] Compaq Laptop Problems

On a long shot, borrow a voltmeter and make sure the power cord is okay.
Next step would be to open the case and check if a power connector
terminal just inside the case broke loose - that would be a simple
solder fix, or maybe a not-as-simple jumper application.
