[Dclug] Telnetting into a Linux box from M$

I suppose this happens occasionally, or maybe quite a bit.  Is there
any way for the telnetter to get the full Gnome, or KDE, or whatever,
experience?  Or does one simply get a console on whatever terminal
one has opened in M$.

(No, no, I haven't installed Windoze anywhere, nor do I have plans
to!<g>   I am asking for a friend)

I think I probably know the answer to this question already, but
maybe the Assembled Wisdom has some nuggets to contribute.
