[Novalug] cd burner not working on linux side of dual boot

Bonnie,
All of these symptoms, except perhaps #2, point to permissions / groups as
the culprit. When the system boots with a cdrom in the drive, it's
automounted as root. Hence your user does not have permission to eject it.
Silly, doesn't seem to work that way on my default Ubuntu install.
Check to make sure your user is in the cdrom group. There may be other
applicable groups, I'm not at my *buntu machine to give you the exact names.
