CiviCRM is built on top of Drupal which - imho - is a solid and
well-established Content Management System.  You can do an amazing
number of things with it (Drupal) out of the box and even more with it
once you start adding modules.  I've been using it on my site for
nearly 3 years and have deployed it for more projects and customers I
care to consider... but I know almost nothing about CiviCRM...
