Yes. Initially, I intended to port back the machinery of Tramp 2.1 (it
has a check for POSIX compatibility, and more). But after evaluating
the changes, it looked to expansive, and the danger destabilizing
Tramp 2.0 was high. So I decided to apply the workaround as "final
solution".
Tramp 2.0.53 is not ready for release, that's why I've updated the
current package.
