Mike, I thought it was agreed that anyone who VETOs must
[a] clearly state why and what they are vetoing, and
[b] suggest ways to resolve the problem, where "revert" should
be seen as the last resort.
Yes, I just saw this as well. Also, I don't see a rationale
for this---we need to make path searching simpler, not more
complicated.
The intention is to provide an easy way to say "I have the packages located
HERE". This is a simplification.
